  • 3 stars so Far

    By DeVelis
Just started using the app. It doesn’t always pick up your shot even when you hit it well. I’m using a 4ft T square to keep the ball and phone in the right place. The more accurate your ball placement the better the results. I’m going to spring for the pro version. After using the app more I’ll update my review.
  • Inconsistent

    By Nord517
One day it’ll work fine, the next day it will day I hit my 56 SW 160 yards (should be around 75-80). Don’t get if you want quality metrics.
  • What a let down

    By IowanGentile
After so much positivity from Rick and others, I was really hoping for a cheap way to tell how far I hit the ball. Instead it almost never picks up my shot, despite trying time and time again to set it up according to the video. I paid for 1 month premium, was charged, but my account is still not premium and I do not have access to anything. Not like it matters since the app doesn’t work anyways. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Not redownloading
  • Phone placement

    By Sdecinque
Does the phone need to be placed behind the golfer or can it be positioned 4ft from the ball away from the golfer? I only see it placed behind the golfer with no explanation
  • Worked properly some of the time

Tried the Pro free trial initially. Missed shots occasionally, but more often I experienced lag/misreads in the app. I would take my shot, wait for the confirmation beep, then nothing. "There's no way it didn't read that!" I said as I picked up my phone to recalibrate it, and a few seconds after I picked up my device it would beep and shout out a crazy high carry distance and shot data. I even went as far as grabbing a tape measure from my car to set up my device and range ball perfectly. Great app when it works, needs some improvement, overall a little frustrating.
  • Nice idea

    By Azgolferboy
It read accurately for one range session. Other than that I had 7 iron shots going 200+ (which I’ve never done) and solidly hit fairway metals going 165 all with accurate spin rates and launch angles. Even bought a tripod for it and followed the instructions to a T ( no pun intended).
  • Wildly Inaccurate

    By dictionaryboy
Needed a launch monitor to track shots and get my distance and shot shape dialed in and the range I’m close to is garbage. Since real monitors are $500-$2,000 I figured I’d give it a shot. On iOS with a subscription and this app is wildly inaccurate; it said I was hitting my sand wedge 140 yards, which is pretty close, but then my driver was only going 130??? Save yourself the frustration and just go to your driving range, no matter how bad it is.
  • Free version seems ok.

    By Mantost
Today I’ve tried this App in a Driving range . I have an IPhone 12 Pro Max and it worked ok. I mean, it skipped some shots and I’m still trying to see how accurate it could be. I’m about to go for the paid Pro version but reading the reviews here kind of stop me. I’ve seen Rick Shiels review on his YouTube channel, comparing this App to a 500 dollars machine and sometimes it matches almost the same results but I’m looking for consistency in the results to improve my swing. In don’t see updates in this App so, are you improving it still ? I have to wait to decide if it’s worth to go with the monthly payment version.
  • Awful app

    By appleistheworstever3232
Terrible app, doesn’t read any shots, tried 100 different ways to set up, watched tutorials, still doesn’t work.

Biggest waste of money and time. Carry distance was never accurate. Could be good with improvements but I’d rather spend the money on an actual launch monitor.
