  • Great news curation!

I’ve been keen to have something like this currate my news. I think for quite a long time
  • New update is a major step backwards

    By Shower Steve
UPDATED 7/29/22: They still have the junky User interface that they refuse to revert back to the bond one bedside they “worked real hard on it” (it’s still a failure), and the newest update forces an app notification for a “daily news update” even if you turn the feature off. I tried contacting the developer directly but they didn’t respond at all. Wish I could give this app zero stars. Update made a ton of changes that just left me scratching my head. 1) app logo is awful. Just awful. You can’t even read the app name easily. 2) the left/center/right logos are all clunky and unclear. 3) the search bar aggressively pops up and down REPEATEDLY with every scroll…. It’s SO annoying and distracting. Just put a search icon and leave it alone for god sake. 4) the color scheme is a full grey with nothing that matches well. 5) the tabs are all blocky and ugly compared to the previous version where they were polished, round, and nice looking. Overall performance of the app just feels junky and cheap, like a first draft that’s still being developed. Seriously, did y’all accidentally re-release the app’s very first design?? It feels and looks like an app made in 2005. Reply to developer response: Ratings are based on the user’s personal review of the app’s functionality, appearance, performance, and overall ease of use….. not “please rate us higher so it will get more downloads.” So no, I won’t change my 1 star review because that’s honestly how poorly I feel this redesigned performs. If it changes for the better in the future I’ll gladly adjust the rating. But ratings are based on CURRENT performance not future promises. Also, I understand that it may be difficult to receive a poor rating after working on a complete redesign, but after looking at the most recent reviews it should be pretty clear to the developer that this was a major flop. Many are low reviews with the same problems about the unpleasant appearance and other app issues. When those issues are corrected to better represent a 5 star user experience I will gladly address that. Until then, I still believe the app deserves the one star review based on its awful appearance, poor performance, and unfriendly UX/UI.
  • No comment section

    By Clutchcaleb1
I enjoyed the app when there was a comment section. I wish they could bring it back and simple have an option where it can be removed for people who don’t want to see comments. I enjoyed engaging with others and getting better clarity on article with the comment section. Please bring it back ground news!
  • Buggy at best

    By Near field
App frequently freezes while scrolling. This occurs about once every 5-7 stories and no more than 5 resets a day. Its quite frustrating as i have to find where i was at the risk of the app freezing and starting over again. Beyond that issue the app functions well and the stories update quite rapidly.
  • A lot going on here

    By Shawnster_P
This is a nice app. The first thing I noticed was their privacy policy. Then, the layout with lots of options is really nice. I particularly find the news by map feature interesting. I subscribed for a year, so we will see, but it seems quite good. Although: I did find this at the top of my “Africa” topic: Roe v Wade ruling disproportionately hurts Black women, experts say. Not really about Africa is it?
  • get it

nothing can help you see how news is covered than this. Minor wording changes to alter your opinions laid bare. A metric to show who is (and isn't) covering a story. See through the fake news.
  • Can bring up sources

Bring up news sources , stop working
  • Love the many adverts in articles

    By Kreesti
Not sure if I am doing something wrong. I had the free version for awhile and updated to a paid version. It seems as though every article has more clickbait ads throughout the article than content. What am I doing wrong?
  • This app is not unbiased

    By PZage
I was curious to see how the Jan 6 committee hearings were being covered across the political spectrum. In the app, the story appeared as the twelfth item covered despite its obvious importance. Tucker Carlson’s rebuttal appeared as the fourteenth. Seems to me they were burying the story. I’ll be deleting the app as soon as I’m done writing this.
  • App barely works

    By 1474717374718158
The app will never load and will stop scrolling randomly forcing you to close the app to fix the problem only for it to happen again 2 minutes later
