  • Better have a laptop/smart TV

This app is absolutely useless if you want to watch practice, qualifying, and races. It just cannot handle it. It freezes, the audio goes on but images are stuck, most often doesn’t even start and when it does, it crashes more often that Jake Dixon and Sam Lowes combined. And it’s not a reception or bandwidth issue at all, I watch F1TV with the same phone with zero issues, despite the lower cost for their subscription. MotoGP provides excellent streaming for your desktop/laptop and for your smart TV (I never have issues there and you can easily have the No Spoiler option appear on your TV or laptop anytime to log in) but their mobile app is complete and utter garbage (ironic that it doesn’t work even on the same WiFi I use for my TV and laptop streaming). If you only have a smart phone, do NOT subscribe because you won’t be able to enjoy the streams properly and you’ll waste your money
  • The app should mirror the web browser capabilities

Multiple camera angles and coverage and other such features on the motogp website should be available on the app. The video quality buffering is like the old real player days. Needs a lot of fixing.

The Apple TV app has a Spoiler Free tab where you can find full race sessions. I find you have to force quit the app usually just to get the tab to refresh and show the latest round. Also, recently the video tiles have become very laggy, and it takes several seconds before anything happens after you click a video to play it. The iPhone App is a whole different story. To play the latest race you have to click calendar, then choose your race, browse to the day, then click the little plus icon, then video. It’s way too many steps.

Not a bad app. Just took me some time.
  • Really poor for 22 season

Terrible so far for 22. Live races have been plagued with poor quality and pauses, not from internet or device issues. Portugal today has times messed up and showing Live Moto2 when GP should already be running. Now they have the GP event posted with no commentary audio track. So I’ve got to wait for a version with audio to be posted before I can watch the race.
  • Pay Wall

Takes abnormally long to register, only to be hit with a paywall for content post-registration. Just poor form, while F1 is opening up and experiencing a boon of new fans, here I am a race and motorbike fan who can’t even give MotoGP a try without committing $150. This is at least the third year in a row I have actively tried to find a way to watch and get into MotoGP only to be smacked by their full scale paywall and turned around to say “forget it, I don’t need to pay you for the privilege to try and become a loyal fan of your product.”
  • Great idea but unable to watch the races

Great idea but unable to watch the races after paying $160 ish. The login feature between Apple and MOTOGP does not work

Surely Dorna has the funding to atleast perform occasional bug fixes. I often have problems opening the app on my iPhone. It will just crash. Other times videos will not load, and most frustrating is when it’s race time and the app tells you to buy the video pass you already paid for. I love this sport but it’s a bad look when you can’t even manage a functioning phone application.

Crashes every 2 seconds. I already paid my fees and that makes it more frustrating because I can’t stream gran prix
